Already in a Mardi Gras mood? The Baton Rouge carnival season kicks off with a new parade this year! The inaugural Krewe of Oshun Baton Rouge parade and festival is Saturday, February 8th in historic Scotlandville.
This parade will start 12pm at Harding and Pembroke being headlined by the Southern University Marching Band - The Human Jukebox! It will end at Howell Blvd and 72nd Ave where the festival will begin at 2pm. This festival will include a battle of the bands featuring our local high schools, live performances, food, games, family resources and so much more.
